Most of the time, we take energy for granted. When we turn on our lights, computers, etc, we don’t think twice about how that energy was made and transported to our homes. I was fortunate enough to be able to visit the Penghu Energy Company and watch the people repair and maintain the massive engines that supply many parts of the island with their energy. These men and women get down and dirty and use their physical labor to make sure people can turn on their lights and air conditioning units. Respect is due where respect is deserved. Amen to these men and women. Thank you to Mr. Gao for introducing me to these hard working men and women!
